You have always prided yourself on knowing when to quit, and now you think it is time to run away—come again some other day.

There is nothing to stop you. You gather all the loot you have won, not forgetting to put the Goblin heads in a big sack, and leave the mine and the mountain behind you.

A few hours later you are back in the town of Roksney. Headman Barnbuilder is surprised to see you so soon, but he gets out the town strongbox and duly pays out 10 gold pieces for each Goblin head. With this treasure, you can replenish your supplies, buy healing for any wounds, and perhaps recruit some new adventurers to replace any that have died in the Old Dwarf Mine.
